PRODUCT FAQ

  1. What is 3M™ Modified Polyvinylidene Flouride Heat Shrink Tubing used for?

3M™ Modified Polyvinylidene Flouride Heat Shrink Tubing is used to insulate, cover and protect joints, terminations and other areas that require protection from environmental factors like moisture, dust or chemicals.

  2. Are there any specific qualities of this product that make it more suitable than competing products?

Yes. This heat shrink tubing provides high performance in harsh environments thanks to its resistance against abrasion, cut-through and chemicals such as fuels, solvents and hydraulic fluids.

  3. How long does it take roughly for the product to shrink down after installation?

. With a standard heat gun set between 250-300°F (121-149°C), 3M™ Modified Polyvinylidene Flouride Heat Shrink Tubing will typically shrink in seconds depending on the size of the tubing applied.
